This awesome looking building was designed by Tetrarc Architects for the School of Art in Saint Herblain, France. The building has two main areas, the music and dance theater on the first floor and the exhibition space on the second floor. Both areas are connected by a staircase that may be the most eye-catching part of the design, spiraling upwards as a large piece of multicolored wood against the blank white walls and ceiling of the space. Not only does it add intrigue and color but it gives the space a bit of a crafty and handmade vibe – perfect for an art school. [
