Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson and James Poysner took on the challenge of completely remixing Pharrell Williams' "In My Mind" project. The finished product dubbed "Out of My Mind" was set to be commercially released in 2007 but due to label politics it never saw the light of day. Visually this video hits the spot. Personally I've never been a big fan of electronica/dance music, but I think Kelis is the perfect artist to experiment with this genre. The song itself is cool. Being a new parent myself I can associate with how life changing having your first child can be. That being said, this is a great ode to her baby.....

The idea for Simon Pillard and Philippe Rossetti’s Lego kitchen sprouted five years ago, when Pillard put 500 blocks and a day’s worth of work into building a Lego-legged chair. The designing duo—–who create products together under the name Munchausen—–recently gave the seat a colorful companion. They covered their kitchen island—–a simple wooden block—–with 20,000 Lego pieces.

Congrats to Diggy Simmons!!!!

Congrats to Diggy Simmons for inking a deal with Atlantic records. This kid created a movement all by himself and didn't rely on his pops Rev. Run or Uncle Russell. He gets props for that. I expect some really big things from this kid.

Pharrell Williams X Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin "Tank Chair"

Pharrell Williams and Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin present Skateboard P’s newest design creation, The Tank chair, which will be on display at colette from March 22nd through the 28th and then at the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin gallery from March 30th through April 24th. This new chair designed by Pharrell Williams comes a couple of years after he designed the “Perspective” chair which was displayed during “The Simple Things” exhibition which was a collaboration between himself and Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami. This new Tank chair is made of Plexiglass and foal or calf and they will be released in limited quantities, eight pieces of each style were made. via colette

PARRA x Nike Air Max 1

Known for his colorful hand-drawn typography and his esoteric character creation, graphic artist PARRA and Nike has finally announced an official release date for the much anticipated PARRA x Nike Air Max 1. The model features a burgundy suede and mesh upper, terry chenille on the Swoosh, multicolor outsole and subtle details like the PARRA-branded tongue patch and hand-drawn shoe-liner graphic. The collaborative effort is exclusive to PATTA in The Netherlands and only a few are available at selected Nike Sportswear Stores scheduled for launch on Saturday March 13th.
